For one ROSETTA fellow, Dr Vamsi Vallurupalli, the ROSETTA fellowship has successfully supported his career development trajectory, culminating in an appointment to a permanent lecturing position at the  Department of Business Information Sytems at University of Galway, commencing on 1 January 2026. 

On behalf of ROSETTA and the Management Team, we congratulate Vamsi on his appointment.

In this role, he currently teaches at postgraduate level across a range of multidisciplinary programmes, including Business Analytics, International Accounting & Analytics, Law & Digital Innovation, and Cybersecurity. In these programmes, he will deliver modules in Data Science & Big Data Analytics and Storytelling through Data Visualisation, inspiring students through his expertise, innovative teaching approach, and commitment to academic excellence.

We are delighted that the ROSETTA programme has served as an important stepping stone in achieving this significant career milestone and supporting Vamsi’s long-term career goals.
