Dr Simeon Vidolov

Simeon Vidolov is an Assistant Professor in Business Information Systems at the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics, University of Galway. Previously, he held positions as a Research Scientist at the UCD School of Business, an Assistant Professor at the European Research Centre for Information Systems (ERCIS) at Münster University in Germany, and served as Managing Director of the Competence Centre for Smart Work at ERCIS. He was also a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at LaSalle, Barcelona, Spain. Simeon’s work has been published in journals such as the European Journal of Information Systems, Organisation Studies, and Information Technology and People.

His research is focused on understanding how technology transforms ways of working and organizing. He is also interested in the broader area of affective computing and how immersive and wearable technologies transform our affective and embodied experiences in collaborative work.
